PERS certificate

Klaipėda Port is the first port in the Baltic States and one of 35 ports in Europe to be certified under the Port Environmental Management System (PERS) from 2024. It confirms that Klaipėda Port can call itself an environmentally friendly port. The PERS certificate commits us to ensure long-term sustainable development and active role in reducing our environmental impact.

Klaipėda Port continuously monitors its environmental performance and prepares an environmental report, which is an integral part of the PERS environmental management system.
