As of July 1, 2026, new legal acts come into force revising the regulation of port dues at the Klaipėda State Seaport. The fees previously known as port dues will now be officially referred to as the Port Infrastructure Charge.
The new charge will be calculated on the basis of two legal acts:
- Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Lithuania “On the Approval of the Procedure for Calculating the Klaipėda State Seaport Infrastructure Charge” (2026-06-30, No. 3-306)
- Order of the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration “On the Approval of the Rates of the Klaipėda State Seaport Infrastructure Charge” (2026-06-30, No. 2BE-95)

It is important to note that the charge amounts remain unchanged – only the name and the underlying legal framework are changing at the moment.

In pursuance to requirements stipulated by part 2, art. 8 of the Law on Klaipėda State Seaport of the Republic of Lithuania,
I hereby ORDER:
1. to approve Regulations for Klaipėda State Seaport Operations (enclosed).
2. to declare as ineffective order No.264 of 7 July 1997 of the Minister of Transport and Communications “Regarding the Approval of Regulations for Klaipėda State Seaport Operations”, including the supplements and amendments thereof.

Pursuant to Article 23 clause 2 of the Law on Klaipeda State Seaport of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette, 1996, № 53-1245) and taking into account the motion of the Klaipeda State Seaport Authority I hereby:
1. approve the Rules for Calculation of Klaipeda Sate Seaport Land Lease Fee (enclosed).
2. acknowledge as ineffective:

In pursuance of article 37 of the Law on Safe Navigation of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette, 2005, No. 31-974) and seeking to ensure safe conditions for navigation in the port waters, I hereby:
1. A p p r o v e Regulations for Provision of Towage Service at Klaipėda State Seaport (enclosed).
2. D e c l a r e null and void Order No. V-33, dated 15th February 2002, of the Director General of SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority.
3. O r d e r the Administrative Office to bring the present Order to the attention of the Directors; and the Heads of the Vessel Traffic Service, Port Supervision Department and Port Dispatcher Office to bring the present Order to the attention of their respective subordinates.
