Baltic Ports Organization – BPO

The Baltic Ports Organization (BPO) provides a platform for jointly addressing the challenges faced by Baltic ports and sharing experiences. It is an important cooperation network that helps ports operate more efficiently in the region. Currently, the Baltic Ports Organization brings together 49 ports from 8 Baltic Sea countries.

The participation of the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority in international organizations is funded by the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility under the “Next Generation Lithuania” plan. This funding decision was made by the Research Council of Lithuania. EU funding strengthens the Klaipėda Port’s ability to participate in international projects, expand its cooperation network, and secure stronger positions in Europe and globally.

European Sea Ports Organization – ESPO

The European Sea Ports Organization (ESPO) is the largest and most influential maritime transport association in Europe. It actively represents the interests of ports in the EU legislative process, conducts research in market, economic, geopolitical, and environmental areas, and promotes cooperation among European ports. The Port of Klaipėda became a member of ESPO in 2001.

The participation of the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority in international organizations is funded by the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility under the “Next Generation Lithuania” plan. This funding decision was made by the Research Council of Lithuania. Cruise Europe – CE

Since 2001, the Klaipėda Port Authority has been a member of „Cruise Europe”. The organization promotes cruise port marketing, attracts more cruise ships and passengers, and collaborates on environmental initiatives. „Cruise Europe” brings together 140 members from over 20 countries, with the Port of Klaipėda belonging to the Baltic Region group.

„Cruise Baltic“

Founded in 2004, „Cruise Baltic” aims to attract cruise ships to the Baltic Sea region. This organization unites 32 ports and cities, promoting the integration of the Baltic Sea region into international cruise routes.

Port of Hamburg Marketing

Since May 2022, the Klaipėda Port Authority has been a member of „Port of Hamburg Marketing”. The association provides support and recommendations on port operations, logistics, and customs issues, prepares reports, conducts marketing activities, and helps enhance the visibility of its members in international markets.

„Wind Europe“
