Modern working conditions

In May 2025, the construction of a fleet base adapted for the activities of the Port Authority fleet was completed in the southern part of Klaipėda Port, on Marių Street.
The new building is adapted for the activities of the Port Authority’s fleet and equipped with storage rooms and small workshops.

Modern working conditions have been created for the members of the Port Authority and ship crews.

The premises are adapted for storing special port maintenance, pollution collection, hydrographic equipment, etc. Equipment maintenance and partial repairs are carried out in the equipped repair workshops. The new fleet base will ensure the possibility of receiving wastewater from ships and supplying water to ships.

Project implementation

On May 6, 2025, a modern fleet base opened its doors in the Port of Klaipėda, bringing together all of the port’s special equipment and ensuring safe storage conditions for the state reserve. This is a strategically important facility that ensures the ability to respond quickly to extreme situations and even smoother port supervision. The fleet base was built by UAB Infes, which won the tender. The value of the project works is EUR 5.36 million.

OPS for ships will be installed near the fleet base at Marių St. 17, Quay No. 123, funded by the Port Authority.
