The organs of the stock company Klaipėda State Seaport Authority (hereinafter referred to as “KVJUD”) are provided for in Chapter V of the Articles of Association of KVJUD: the General Meeting of Shareholders; the Supervisory Board; the Board of Directors; and the CEO of the company.
THE SUPERVISORY BOARD
The Supervisory Board is a collegial body responsible for overseeing the company’s activities, consisting of 5 members, 3 of whom are independent. The Supervisory Board is elected for 4 years, starting from the appointment date and concluding 4 years after that.
In 2022, the Supervisory Board of the CCSUD was appointed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania through an open tender process and commenced its activities on January 2, 2023. The following individuals were elected as independent members: Nemunas Biknius (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Port of Klaipėda Authority), and Dr. Aurimas Vilkelis. The other members of the Supervisory Board are Gytis Mažeika and Kristina Petraitienė.

The Supervisory Board of Port of Klaipėda Authority elected its Management Board on June 12, 2023. Following the internal selection process, 4 out of the 5 members of the Management Board, as outlined in the Articles of Association, were chosen from the company’s employees. The fifth member began their position on January 9, 2024.




In 2024, members of the Board and Supervisory Council, executives, and other relevant employees participated in specialized sustainability training aimed at strengthening their understanding of sustainability principles, regulatory requirements, and double materiality analysis skills.
