The best June cargo handling result in Klaipeda Seaport

Pursuant to preliminary  data as of the 2nd of July the cargo handling turnover in Klaipeda Seaport in June of 2015 increased by 13,9 pct. or by 402,4 thou. tn to 3,29 mln tn comparing with June of 2014.

Within the period of January – June of 2015 the cargo handling turnover in Klaipeda Seaport reached 18,85 mln tn, i.e., more by 6,2 pct. or by 1 096,1 thou. tn comparing with January – June of 2014.

Year-on-year changes of overall turnover  in January – June of 2015 according to cargo types:

Liquid cargo – 5 209,0  thou tn were handled, +40,9 pct. or +1 511,8 thou. tn yoy;

General cargo – 5 616,2 thou. tn were handled, -1,4 pct. or -78,2 thou. tn yoy;

Dry and bulk cargo – 8 027,6 thou. tn were handled, -4,0 pct. or more -337,5 thou. tn yoy.
