The Ambassador of the United Kingdom Visiting the Port of Klaipeda

On September 26, 2008 (Friday), the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland in Lithuania Sir Simon Butt will pay a visit to the port of Klaipeda for the first time ever. The visit‘s goal is to get acquainted with Klaipeda, its port, the port‘s activities, opportunities and capacity.
On September 26, 2008 the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland in the Republic of Lithuania Sir Simon Butt accompanied by the Consul of Honor of the United Kingdom in Klaipeda Mr. Mark Uribe will visit the SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority. The guests will be greeted by the Marketing Director Artūras Drungilas who will present the port‘s activities, opportunities, capacity, and development perspectives and will discuss current quesitons.
After the visit at the Port Authority is over, the delegation will have a trip on a boat around the port‘s aquatorium to get acquainted with the existing infra- and supra-structures. The guests will have a chance to get acuainted visually with the Port Authority‘s plans regarding improvement of the infrastructure and the perspectives for the development of the port.
