Successful Beginning of 2016 in Klaipeda Seaport

Pursuant to preliminary  data as of the 3th of  Fabruary the cargo handling turnover in Klaipeda Seaport in January of 2016 increased by 5,1 pct.  or by 153,3 thou. tn to 3,16  mln tn comparing with January of 2015.

Year-on-year changes of the overall turnover  in January of 2016 according to cargo types:

• Liquid cargo – 1 119,6  thou. tn were handled, +33,5 pct. or +281,2 thou. tn yoy;
• General cargo – 845,2 thou. tn were handled, -5,2 pct. or -46,4 thou. tn yoy;
• Dry and bulk cargo – 1 198,9 thou. tn were handled, -6,4 pct.  or more -81,5 thou. tn yoy.
