SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority has been awarded the Lithuanian Export Prize

In November 19, 2004 the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus awarded the Lithuanian Export Prize to Klaipeda State Seaport Authority.

These annually awarded prizes, founded by the Association of Commerce, Industry and Crafts of Lithuania, are awarded to companies manufacturing export production, rendering export services and favourably promoting Lithuanian commodities and services in foreign countries.

In 2003 export of Lithuanian cargo made 24 mln. t, including 9,6 mln. t, i.e. even

40 % of total exported cargo, handled in Klaipeda Seaport.

In 2004 from January to September 7,5 mln.t. of cargo was exported via Klaipeda Seaport and it is by 8,7 % more than during the same period of 2003.
