Representatives of the Seaport Authority attended events of international projects

On 22-24 September 2010, an opening conference of the project “Port Integration“ was held in Hamburg (Germany), and on 23-24 September, a meeting of Steering Committee and partners of the project “East West Transport Corridor II“ was held in Schwerin (Germany).
 
The opening conference of the European Territorial Cooperation objective (ETCO) project “Port Integration“ which was held in Hamburg (Germany) was attended by Director for Infrastructure and Development Vidas Karolis and Director for Šventoji port Airida Čėsnienė.
 
The aim of the project “Port Integration“ – sharing the experience and exchange of information, regional integration of ports.
 
The meeting of the Steering Committee and partners of the project “East West Transport Corridor II – Green Corridor Concept within the Northern Transport Axis Approach“ whichwas held in Schwerin (Germany) was attended by Marketing and Administration Director Artūras Drungilas and Chief Financial Officer Beata Kulevičiutė.
 
The aim of the project – to develop transport hubs, to strengthen the concept of railroads, to improve the network of access roads, to raise qualification of personnel, to develop innovative environment for the "Green" corridor. Long-term goal – to develop East-West Transport Corridor as an effective "Green" corridor corresponding to the demands of growing cargo flow transportation.
