Representatives of Kaunas County Governors Administration and the company “Buck Consultants International“ visited Klaipėda port

 

On 6 October 2009 representatives of Kaunas County Governor‘s Administration and the company “Buck Consultants International“ visited Klaipėda State Seapor Authority. The aim of the visit – to familiarize with the Klaipėda port, the companies operating in the Port, port development, logistics and possibilities.

 

Upon order of Kaunas County Governor‘s Administration, the company “Buck Consultants International“ is preparing a study for Public logistics centre in Kaunas (VLC), analysing transport infrastructure, logistics and flows of goods within entire territory of Lithuania.

 

The guests were welcomed at the Seaport Authority (J. Janonio str. 24) by Director for Marketing Artūras Drungilas, who presented an overview of Klaipėda Seaport activities, economic indicators of the port performance, development prospects. Discussion also included logistic issues that the guests were especially interested in.
