Kaliningrad District businessmen visited Klaipėda Seaport

On 23 February 2011, the delegation of Kaliningrad District businessmen accompanied by the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania Vaclav Stankevič visited Klaipėda Seaport Authority. The aim of the visit was to familiarize with Klaipėda Seaport, its infrastructure, development and investment opportunities.
Marketing and Administration Director Artūras Drungilas met the guests at the Seaport Authority and introduced them to Klaipėda Port activities, reviewed economic indicators of the port performance, presented the ongoing projects of the port development, potential and capacities of the port, discussed the performance, specifics and logistic issues of the cargo handling companies operating in the port, also the business climate and cooperation possibilities and prospects.
After the visit in the Seaport Authority, the members of the delegation visited Klaipėda Container Terminal to familiarise with activities of this company.
