Invitation of media to a press-conference

In May 8 2008 (on Thursday) at 1100 h in the premises of Šventoji school (Mokyklos g. 10, Šventoji) there will take place the meeting of Šventoji State Seaport Development Board. The chairman of the meeting will be the Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania and the Chairman of Šventoji State Seaport Development Board Algirdas Butkevičius.

 

There will also take part at the meeting the adviser of the Economic department to the Government of Lithuania Povilas Girčys and the invited members of Maritime and Fishery Affairs Committee of the Seimas of Lithuania.

The following questions will be discussed at the meeting: Solutions of the Master Plan of Palanga, attributing the Šventoji State Seaport port land and water territory and Address of Maritime and Fishery Affairs Committee of the Seimas of Lithuania  concerning acceleration of the preparatory works for the reconstruction of Šventoji State Seaport and possibilities of dredging of entrance to the internal part of the water territory up to 2 m.  

 

After the discussion it is foreseen to visit the future territory of Šventoji port and get acquainted with existing infrastructure.

 

WE KINDLY INVITE THE REPRESENTATIVES OF MEDIA TO A PRESS-CONFERENCE, which is foreseen on the 8th of May 2008 (on Thursday) at 1300 – 1320 h in the premises of Šventoji school (Mokyklos g. 10, Šventoji).

 

There will take part at the press-conference: the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius, Mayor of Palanga Remigijus Kirstukas, Secrertary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Arvydas Vaitkus, Director General of SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority Sigitas Dobilinskas. Time for interviews, shooting and making photos is foreseen during the press conference and after it.
