Incident at the Harbour Entrance

In March 7 2008 at about 8⁴⁰ h AB DFDS LISCO ferry „Lisco Patria“ entering a port had temporally lost management control sailing in the Harbour Entrance.

On the 7th of March 2008 at about 8 ⁴⁰ h VTS of SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority got a notice from the Captain A. Nerezov from AB DFDS LISCO ferry „Lisco Patria“ that the ferry entering a port had temporally lost management control sailing in the Harbour Entrance.

The ferry managed to avoid bad consequences and the ferry successfully continued the route in port waters.

The purposes of this incident are under investigation.
