Concerning shipping in extreme conditions

            Shipping in Klaipeda port under normal or emergency situations is governed by the following documents: Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania No. 216 of the 24th February 2000, “Regarding the approval of emergency situation criteria”, “Klaipeda State Seaport Shipping Rules”, approved by Order No. 3-599 of the Minister of Transport and Communications on the 3rd November 2003, “Klaipeda State Seaport Regulations” approved by Order No. 264 of the Minister of Transport and Communications on the 7th of July 1997, instruction “Transportation of Rescue forces and people across the Curonian Lagoon under emergency situation in case of crucial hydro meteorological situation”, approved by Klaipeda County Governor V. Lukosiene on the 6th of March 2002. (All these documets are available on the internet website www.portofklaipeda.lt).
