Asia‘s largest international transport show and conference „Transit-TransKazakhstan 2008“

 

A total of seven port‘s companies are presented by a unified exposition displaying Lithunian transport system at „Transit-TransKazakhstan 2008“. This time, its total area is 73,5 m². The participants are: SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority, SE Klaipeda Stevedoring Company (KLASCO), LLC „Klaipėdos konteinerių terminalas“ (Klaipeda Container Terminal), LSSE „Klaipėdos Smeltė“, LLC „Baltic Port Agency“, LLC „Vakarų krova“, LLC „Baltijos pervežimai“, SE „Lietuvos geležinkeliai“ (Lithuanian Railroads), Lithuanian National Association of Automobile Carriers „Linava“. Representatives of a few other port‘s companies are planning to join the show as visitors: LLC „GreenCarrier“, LLC „Forlika“, LLC „CIS Cargo“, LLC „Euroga“ and LLC „Arijus“.

 

During a three-day show, the head of the SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority‘s branch in the Republic of Belarus  Artūras Gaidauskas will take part as well.

 

SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority Director General Sigitas Dobilinskas will participate in the VIIth international forum „TransEurazija 2008“ taking place on September 24-25, 2008. During the forum, prospectives of the development of the Eurasian transit and investement projects will be discussed.   

It is good news that cargo flows from / to the Republic of Kazakhstan retained their growth tendency in 2008. Thus, for the port‘s companies aiming to attract new cargo flows, the „Transit-TransKazakhstan“ show is one of the major platforms for presenting transport and logistics services in this region.
