A visit of Szczecin delegation in Klaipėda port

In March 20 2009 the Mayor of Szczecin (Poland) Mr. Piotr Krzystek and the delegation visited Klaipėda port. The goal of the visit was – to share knowledge concerning the organization of The Tall Ships‘ Races and get acquainted with the activities, infrastructure and development perspectives of Klaipėda port.
The delegation of Szczecin headed by the Mayor Piotr Krzystek intended to share knowledge concerning the organization of The Tall Ships‘ Races: in 2007 Szczecin was the finish port of the regatta. This topic is especially important for Klaipėda as this year the finish port of the above-mentioned regatta is Klaipėda.
On the 20th of March the delegation of Szczecin visited SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority. Director for marketing Arturas Drungilas met the guests and acquainted them with the activities, possibilities, capacities and development perspectives of Klaipėda port and discussed other matters. After the visit at the port authority the guests had a ship tour in port waters and got acquainted with port infrastructure
