The total throughput of Klaipėda Port and in Būtingės terminal in December of 2012 totalled 3,75 mln. tn of seaborne cargo, i.e. more by 6,3 pct. or by 222,8 thou. tn if to compare with the corresponding period of 2011. The cargo handling turnover in Klaipėda Port in December of 2012 reached 3,04 mln. tn (+4,1 pct. or +119,9 thou. tn year-on-year), meanwhile 703,4 thou. tn of crude oil (+17,1 pct. or +102,9 thou. tn) were exported via Butingės terminal in December of 2012.
