The house of the first Klaipėda Port Master was transferred to the State Plant Service

Last weak the premises owned by the Port Authority were handed over to the State Plant Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania pursuant to Resolution No. 726 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. The premises – the house of the first Klaipėda Harbour Master Liudvikas Stulpinas, situate in Sankryžos str. 7, Klaipėda. The total residual value of the house was 156 918.72 Lt.

The 21st August 2013 Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania sounds like „To transfer to State Plant Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania the real estate – administration building and the building- warehouse in Klaipėda, Sankryžos street to manage, use and dispose the property owned by the State under the ownership right and presently managed by the state Enterprise Klaipėda State Seaport Authority under the right of trust”.

Description of transferred property:
1) Administration building
The total area – 440.21 square metres;
Residual value by the 30th of April 2013 – 156 006.53 Lt; 
2)  Building-warehouse
The total area – 146.29 square metres;
Residual value by the 30th of April 2013 – 912.19 Lt.

We would like to remind, that employees of Port Authority that had performed their activity in the premises owned by Port Authority (Pilies str.4, Sankryžos str. 7, Nemuno str. 8A and Nemuno str. 40 (part of the employees) on the 20th of April 2012 moved to premises owned by Seaport Authority in Janonio str. 24. The Port Authority purchased this building from „DFDS Lisco“ in March of 2011 for 14.014 million Lt.

The necessity to acquire premises was determined by such factors as the necessity to concentrate all Port Authority services under one roof in one building in order to ensure expeditious Port management functions, to save money and to avoid high maintenance, transport, telecommunication costs that occur during exploitation of several objects and renting additionally several premises.

Furthermore, we would like to remind that Port Authority has transferred to Klaipėda Municipality the real estate managed under the right of trust – the building (sporting hall) together with non – current tangible assets in Pilies str.4, Klaipėda. The total residual value of the transferred assets – 523 004.64 Lt.
