The delegation of the representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and businessmen of Belarus are visiting Klaipėda Port

In November 26-27 2007 the delegation of the representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and businessmen of Belarus are visiting Klaipėda Port: on the 26th of November there will take place the meeting of transport working group at SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority (the questions of optimization of cargo transportation and handling of Belarus foreign trade cargo via Klaipėda Port) and on the 27th of November the delegation will be shown the port from water side as well as the capacities and activities of port companies.
The head of delegation is Vice Minister of Belarus Ministry of Transport and Communications Aleksandr Nesterovic and he also is the head of working group from Belarus side. The other members of delegation are the representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus, Belarus railways, Customs Committee, concern „Belneftchim“, fertilizer producer „Belaruskalij“ and exporter of potassium fertilizers „Belaruskaja kalijnaja kompanija“ as well as other industrial companies who will stay in the port for two days.
Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Lithuania C. Siksnelis will accompany the delegation – he is the head of the working group from Lithuanian side. The other members of delegation are the representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Lithuania, SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority, Association of Lithuanian Stevedoring companies, AB „Lietuvos geležinkeliai“ and heads of port stevedoring companies.
In November 26 2007 there will take place the VIII meeting of transport working group of Lithuania and Belarus ((the questions of optimization of cargo transportation and handling of Belarus foreign trade cargo via Klaipėda Port), where the questions about the execution of former decisions, conditions and volumes of transportation Belarus cargo via Klaipėda Port for 2008 will be also discussed. On the 27th of November the delegation will be shown the port from water side and the capacities and activities of port companies.
The representatives of press and media are kindly invited to come to SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority on the 26-11-2007 at 1800 – 1815 h (J. Janonio str. 24) to the conference hall for the meeting with Belarus delegation and at this meeting the agenda and decisions of the VIII Belarus and Lithuania transport group meeting will be presented.
