Review of cargo handling in Klaipeda seaport, at Butingės terminal and other eastern coast Baltic seaports January – November

REVIEW OF CARGO HANDLING IN KLAIPEDA SEAPORT, AT BUTINGĖS TERMINAL AND OTHER EASTERN COAST BALTIC SEAPORTSJanuary – November of 2014 

The throughput of Klaipeda Port in January – November of 2014 increased by 9,0 pct. –  totally 33,4 mln. tn of seaborne cargo, i.e. more by 2,8 mln. tn comparing with the corresponding period of the previous year were handled.

33,4 mln. tn of cargo is the identical Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover result that was recorded within the entire period of 2013.

This means that the income of Lithuanian transport enterprises operating via the Seaport increased approx. by 126 mln Lt. this year and the state budget received more by 31 mln. Lt comparing with the last year.
