Within the period of January – April of 2017 Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 2,3 pct. to 13,59 mln tn, i.e. more by 301,1 thou. tn comparing with the corresponding period of 2016.

Year-on-year changes of overall turnover according to cargo types:

Liquid cargo – 3 427,7 thou. tn were handled, -18,8 pct. or – 795,1 thou. tn yoy;
General cargo – 3 886,9 thou. tn were handled, -5,0 pct. or – 203,7 thou. tn yoy;
Dry and bulk cargo – 6 272,8 thou. tn were handled, +26,1 pct. or +1 299,9. tn yoy.
