Review of Cargo Handling in Klaipeda Seaport, at Butingės Terminal and Other Eastern Coast Baltic Seaports

Within the period of January – November of 2016 Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 4,7 pct. to  36,80 mln tn, i.e.  more by 1 658,9 thou. tn comparing with the corresponding period of 2015.

Year-on-year changes of overall turnover  according to cargo types:

• Liquid cargo – 10 327,9 thou. tn were handled, +13,4 pct. or +1 216,9 thou. tn yoy;
• General cargo – 11 383,0  thou. tn were handled, +10,9 pct. or +1 114,4 thou. tn yoy;
• Dry and bulk cargo – 15 087,2 thou. tn were handled, -4,3 pct. or -672,4 thou. tn yoy
