Official opening of bulk cargo terminal in Malkų Bay

On the 30th August of 2013 the official opening ceremony of bulk cargo terminal in Malkų Bay was launched. Director General Arvydas Vaitkus was among the invited quests.

The official ceremony was destined to indicate that bulk agriculture products, like grain, oil-bearing plants, extruded cakes of diverse plants and granulators may already be handled at total capacity.

Cargo handling capacity is 500 000 tons per year and warehousing capacity is up to 55 000 tons at a time (in 4 silage type warehouses).
