New pilot boat „Smiltė“

Drąsutis Kudzevičius, Deputy Head of Port Fleet Department – Superintendent, acting Captain of „Smiltė“ Rimantas Zakas, chief mechanic Antanas Kaziukonis went to Nasva (Estonia) to test the mechanisms and installations of a pilot boat in December 13 2006.  New pilot boat „Smiltė“, built to order of SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority came to Klaipėda port late Thursday evening, 21 of December 2006.
The pilot boat was built in Estonia, Sarema island, in a joint Estonian and Finnish shipyard  „Baltic Workboats“, and it cost more than  3,22 mln. Lt.
