Director General of Port Authority presented Klaipėda Port in China

On the 28th of March – the 1st of April, 2010, Eugenijus Gentvilas, director general of Klaipėda State Seaport Authority was with a visit in Beijing (the People‘s Republic of China) where he made a report about Klaipėda Port „Klaipėda, Baltics Gateway to and from Asia“.
On the 28th of March – the 1st of April, 2010, the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Eligijus Masiulis and a business delegation under the leadership of the Vice – minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Arunas Staras were with a visit in the capital of the People‘s Republic of China Beijing. Director General of Klaipėda State Seaport Authority Eugenijus Gentvilas, Commercial Attaché Gvidas Kerušauskas and the executives of International Vilnius Airport and companies of Klaipeda Port were among the members of this business delegation.
During this visit the members of the delegation visited China International Forwarders Association and Logistics and Purchasing Associations, participated in the meeting with the Minister of Communications of China Li Shenglin, the Secretary General of China Communication and Transport Association Qian Yongchang, the President of EU Chamber of Commerce in China Jorg Wuttke, representatives from transport and logistics associations and diverse companies.
