Belarus delegation of mass media visited Klaipėda Port

 

 

With reference to the forthcoming Business Forum of Lithuania and Belarus that will be held on the 16-17 of September of this year, Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and Belarus took a decision to organise trips for journalists in order to present economical potential and cooperation in cultural sphere of both countries, to commemorate the Millennium of Lithuania considering the common history of Lithuania and Belarus.

 

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Republic organized visit of the representatives of Belarus mass media to Lithuania on the 20-22 of August of this year.

 

On the 21st of August 2009 delegation of representatives of Belarus mass media comprising 10 journalists visited Port Authority (J. Janonio str.24). Delegation was received by the Head of Representative Office in the Republic of Belarus Arturas Gaidauskas. He presented Klaipeda Port activity, economic Port indicators, presently implemented and anticipated Port development projects, reviewed Port potential and capacity, activity and particularity of stevedoring companies operating presently in the Port, issues concerning logistics.
