Review of Cargo Handling in Klaipeda Seaport, at Butinges Terminal and other Eastern Coast Baltic Seaports in January – May of 2015

Within the period of January – May of 2015 Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 4,7 pct. to  15,56 mln tn, i.e.  more by 693,7 thou. tn comparing with the corresponding period of 2014.

Year-on-year changes of overall turnover  in January – May of 2015 according to cargo types:

Liquid cargo – 4 354,6  thou tn were handled, +37,4 pct. or +1 185,7 thou. tn yoy;

General cargo – 4 605,4 thou. tn were handled, -2,3 pct. or -107,1 thou. tn yoy;

Dry and bulk cargo – 6 602,3 thou. tn were handled, -5,5 pct. or more -384,9 thou. tn yoy.
