MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF KLAIPEDA STATE SEAPORT

On 18 September 2006 (Monday) at 14.00 pm meeting of the Council of Klaipeda State Seaport will be held at the great conference hall of SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority (Janonio str. 24, Klaipeda).
Planned items of agenda:
1. Regarding rebuilding of the port at Šventoji.
2. Re Klaipeda City General Plan (re deepwater port).
3. Re relocation of passenger ferry terminal to the quay No. 27
4. Presentation of the final report on the study on Klaipeda port dues and competitive capacity.
5. Re equipment of adjustable ramp.
6. Re acquisition of a dredger.
7. Other items.
7.1. Information on the findings of the European Commission experts regarding security of Klaipeda port.
7.2. Re online broadcasting of the port view.
7.3. Re proposal of the Lithuanian maritime journalists club “Marinus” to build a monument in commemoration of ships sunk in the Baltic Sea at various times.
7.4. Re request of the Lithuanian Seamen’s Union to resolve issues of seamen welfare in Klaipeda and funding of a new seamen center in Klaipeda at the expense of Klaipeda Seaport Authority.
