Participation at the Annual International Transport and Logistics Exhibition Transit-TransKazakhstan

In Astana, capital city of Kazakhstan Republic, the Annual International Transport and Logistics Exhibition Transit-TransKazakhstan will be held on 20-22 September 2006 and conference TransEurasia 2006 on 21-22. The Port Authority has been a participant of this exhibition for seven years now and every year it initiates and coordinates participation of the companies of Klaipeda seaport in this important international event.
The joint national exposition this year to be arranged by the exhibition center UAB „Lietuvos parodų centras LITEXPO“ will also include seven companies of the port: AB „Klaipėdos jūrų krovinių kompanija“ (KLASCO), AB „Klaipėdos nafta“, UAB „Klaipėdos terminalo grupė“, UAB „Vakarų krova“, UAB „BPA“, UAB „Baltijos pervežimai“, UAB „Arijus“ and AB „Lithuanian Railways“ and the Lithuanian National Road Carriers Association “Linava”. Klaipeda port will be represented at the exhibition by representatives of the twelve maritime companies.
At the conference TransEurasia 2006, arranged for the sixth time in Astana, presentations will be given by Algirdas Butkevičius, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, and Sigitas Dobilinskas, Director General of Klaipeda State Seaport Authority.
