Fly, poesy bird, above the sea

We cordially invite you to take part in a romantic party on the 31st of May 2008 Skriski, poezijos paukšte, virš jūros (Fly, poesy bird, above the sea) – a meeting of Lithuanian and foreign poets with Klaipėda maritime community. This event is organized by Se KSSA and Lithuanian Writers` Union as the event of Poezijos pavasaris.
Lidija Šimkutė (USA), Kęstutis Keblys (USA), Ross Hattawy (Ireland), Jayde Will (Ireland), Boris Bartseld (Russia), Sandra Vensko (Latvia), Janis Hvoinskis (Latvia), Janis Mackus (Latvia) Zita Gaižauskaitė (Lithuania) and other Lithuanian poets. Virtuoso acordeon player Žygimantas Laurinavičius will accompany the trip.
Poetry party will take place on board of a ship „Šakiai“ of SE KSSA (departure from the quay of Cruise vessel terminal).
Duration of the event – 3 h.
P. S. In case of heavy rain or storm the event will take place in Seafarers` Centre (Agluonos g. 5, tel. 300 883).
