A visit to Klaipeda of the representative of the “Saffron Brand Consultants“ – the international branding company planning to create Lithuania‘s image

 

In accordance with a contract with the Lithuanian Development Agency (LEPA), the British „Saffron Brand Consultants“ is compiling a strategy for Lithuania‘s economic image for the years 2009-2014. The strategy is planned to be completed by the beginning of next year. This company‘s services will cost almost 500,000 Lt that will be paid from the funds of the European Union.

 

On October 1-2, 2008, the Branding Specialist of the „Saffron Brand Consultants“ Jeremy Hildreth will visit Klaipeda. The visit‘s goal is to meet the representatives of the city‘s authorities and business community and determine perspectives on Lithuania and its image abroad and within the country as seen by separate segments (the city, the port, business).

 

During his visit, the guest will meet the Marketing Director of the SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority Artūras Drungilas, the representatives of the Klaipeda City Council Ričardas Zulcas and Liutauras Kraniauskas, the Director of the Klaipėda Development Agency (KEPA) Raimonda Laužikienė and the Director General of the Managing Enterprise of the Klaipeda Free Economic Zone Eimantas Kiudulas.

 

At the end of October, the head of the „Saffron Brand Consultants“ Mr. Wally Olins will visit Lithuania as well. After compiling the data and generalizing it, the company representatives will submit the strategy of the Lithuania‘s economic image for the years 2009-2014, the detailed plan for the communication of the Lithuania‘s economic image‘s strategy for the years 2009-2011, and recomendations for communication for the years 2012-2014 by the beginning of next year.
