Incident at quay leased by AB „Klaipėdos jūrų krovos kompanija“ (KLASCO)

On the 3rd of March 2009 (on Tuesday) at 2250 h port dispatcher’s office got a notice that on the motor-boat „Green Snow“, berthing at quay No 18 leased by AB „Klaipėdos jūrų krovinių kompanija“ (KLASCO) there rose a fire.
On the 3rd of March 2009 at 2250 h the dispatcher on duty got a notice that on the motor-boat „Green Snow“ (flying the flag of Bahamas), berthing at quay No 18 there rose a fire.
Port dispatcher’s office immediately informed the responsible officers of Emergency situation management centre and called Klaipėda fire fighting brigade.
At 2315 h the hotbed of the fire was localized which was in air conditioning premise.
