Representative of the Seaport Authority attended APEC seminar “Port management“

On 25 January – 5 February senior specialist of Infrastructure Department Nadežda Kuzina attended competence development seminar “Port management“ which took place in Antwerp (Belgium) and was organized and financed by APEC (Antwerp / Flanders Port Training Center)
Representatives of this specialized seminar discussed the key aspects of modern port management. Strategic issues of policy, professional planning, responsibility of state and private ports, obligations and duties of port masters, security and safety, marketing, advertising, terminal usage, logistics and other relevant issues were discussed during the seminar.
Visits to relevant port services of Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Ghent ports were scheduled in the agenda of the seminar.
