Representative of the port Authority took part in the meeting of ESPO Sustainable Development Committee

On 23 February, 2010 Director for Infrastructure and Development Vidas Karolis took part in the meeting of ESPO (European Sea Ports Organisation) Sustainable Development Committee held in Stockholm (Sweden).

The issues discussed during the meeting included environmental problems, global warming effects, control and handling of pollutant substances generated by ships, development of ports, protection of natural resources, water quality and other issues.
