October in klaipeda port was marked by large grain cargo flows, abundance of containers and absolute all-time record of collected port dues

The aggregated throughput of Klaipėda Port and in Būtngės terminal in October of 2012 totalled 4,14 mln. tn of sea – born cargo, i.e. more by 0,9 pct. or by 38,3 thou. tn if to compare with the corresponding period of 2011.  The cargo handling turnover in Klaipėda Port in October of 2012 reached 3,24 mln. tn (-1,9 pct. or -61,6 thou. tn year-on-year), meanwhile 905,2 thou. tn of crude oil (+12,4 pct. or +99,9 thou. tn) were exported via  Butingės terminal in October of the current year.

The amount of collected Port dues in October of the current year reached 13,3 million Lt. – it was an absolute all – time record of port dues collected per month.
